Connect Kora Premium

Kora Desktop works without a Kora account when you connect your own providers. Kora Premium adds the managed Flash model and the app features marked Premium. Connect your Kora key once to unlock them in the desktop app.

Connect the key

1. Sign in at kora-ai.download and activate Kora Premium.
2. Copy the Kora key from the dashboard.
3. In Kora Desktop, open Settings → AI Providers → Kora.
4. Paste the key (kor_*) in API Key.
5. Click Save. Wait for the status below the field to show Valid.
6. Close Settings and select Flash from the model selector in the chat composer.

Note

Flash usage is measured over rolling 5-hour, 7-day, and 30-day windows. Cached input is not counted. Open your Kora dashboard to check the current usage for each window.

Troubleshooting

• Key stays invalid after saving → copy it again from the dashboard; confirm it starts with kor_ and contains no leading or trailing spaces.
• Validation server cannot be reached → check the network connection and retry. Kora preserves the previous premium state during a temporary validation failure.
• Flash is missing from the model selector → reopen the selector after the key status changes to Valid.
• Flash reports a usage limit → check the rolling windows in your Kora dashboard and retry after the relevant window has capacity.
