Connect Kora Cloud
Kora Desktop works without a Kora account when you connect your own providers. To use Flash and the app features marked Premium, connect a valid Kora Cloud key.
Connect the key
Section titled “Connect the key”- Sign in at kora-ai.download and activate Flash.
- Copy the Kora Cloud key from the dashboard.
- In Kora Desktop, open Settings → AI Providers → Kora.
- Paste the key (
kor_*) in API Key. - Click Save. Wait for the status below the field to show Valid.
- Close Settings and select Flash from the model selector in the chat composer.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Key stays invalid after saving → copy it again from the dashboard; confirm it starts with
kor_and contains no leading or trailing spaces. - Validation server cannot be reached → check the network connection and retry. Kora preserves the previous premium state during a temporary validation failure.
- Flash is missing from the model selector → reopen the selector after the key status changes to Valid.
- Flash reports a usage limit → check the rolling windows in the Kora Cloud dashboard and retry after the relevant window has capacity.
